Kellie Pickler's late husband, Kyle Jacobs, took to Instagram this week to celebrate the success of country music star Lee Brice's fifth album, Hey World, which he produced.

"Platinum?! SWEET!!! An incredible team of incredibly talented people put this all together," the songwriter wrote Thursday, the day before his suicide. “I'm honored to have been a creative part of this… Thank you Jesus! !she added, before tagging the people who contributed to the song's success.

Nashville Metropolitan Police spokesman Don Aaron later confirmed to the Post on Friday that Jacobs was found dead at the home he shared with Pickler. He was 49 years old.

Pickler, 36, woke up Friday and couldn't find her husband. After an ex and an American Idol aide searched their home, they found the upstairs door was locked, police say.

After several attempts to break in, Pickler and an assistant reportedly called the police, who broke through and discovered Jacobs' body inside.

The "Red High Heels" singer has not yet commented on her husband's death. However, several stars have expressed their condolences to the family on social media.

"In 2015, Kellie Pickler and husband Kyle Jacobs performed at The Real... Kyle was a talented musician and it was obvious they loved each other.Prayers of comfort for Kellie...Kyle will make a living from his music 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾," Loni Love tweeted on Saturday.

Pickler and Jacobs were married in 2011 and have no children together. The couple starred on the CMT reality show I Love Kellie Pickler for three seasons from 2015-2017.

Jacobs has worked with several stars, including Tim McGraw, Randy Travis, Kelly Clarkson, Scott McCreery and George Strait.
